When MLM’ers joined their first mlm, they are full of excitement.  However most often they have no idea how to build their business.   There are many
critical mistakes that MLM’ers make when they are building their business.  The key is to stop making these mistakes and learn from past experiences.   In this blog post I am going to go over seven deadly MLM Mistakes That Will Cost Your Career:

  1. Pre Judging People- I know that you hear a lot that you should not approach your warm market about your MLM.  I agree to a point.  But there is nothing wrong with telling your family what you do.  If you are in a mlm and you are ashamed to tell your family, you need to reevaluate things.  The problem MLM’ers has with approaching their family members is that they come across to hard.  If you have people with experience with offline marketing, reach out to them and as much training as possible on how to handle approaching your warm market.
  2. Procrastination- Procrastination can be the death of your dreams, but yet we do it freely.  We often procrastinate out of fear and control.  When you procrastinate you can control the situation.    When you keep putting of things for tomorrow, before you know it your tasks will never get done.   Tomorrow is not promise to no one.  Why put off for tomorrow, what you can do today?
  3. Not Knowing Who Your Target Market is- Most people get so excited about their mlm and start blasting their opportunity to everyone who will listen, even those who don’t listen.  If you are in the health and wellness industry, you need to know who needs health and wellness products.  You also need to know where to find these people.  Contrary to popular belief, everybody is not your prospect and not everybody is interested in what you have to say.
  4. Not Knowing How To Market- When you join a mlm, you are joining a network marketing company.  We all remember the “networking” part, but we have no clue how to do the “marketing” part.    New people are joining this industry all the time.  Sometimes your upline is no help and you can’t duplicate what they do.  If your mlm does not provide you with any training on how to market your opportunity.  This is the only way your organization is going to grow.
  5. Not Having a Mentor- So your upline hung you out to dry.  Big deal.  It happens to us all.  If your upline is not helping you and if you are not
    growing under your upline leadership, find somebody who will mentor you and teach you the route.  You cannot do this business without having a mentor.  I repeat you must get a mentor. 
  6. Being Afraid- Let me be blunt with you.  There is no room for babies and complainers in MLM.  The industry will chew you up and spit you out.  Only the tough will survive.  So if you think this business will be easy and will have mercy on you. I suggest you quit while you have the chance.  There no meek and timid individuals in MLM.  You have to go after what is yours.  If this biz was easy, there would not be such a high failure rate. 
  7. Not Taking Action: Your business will not build itself.  You must get your message out there.  Wherever you are building your business, you must be consistent.  Implement what you learn.  We take so much time getting ready to be ready, but actually implementing what you have learned.  You do not have to be perfect.  People join real people.
