If you are new to the internet network marketing industry there are certain things you must know.  Most people get into this industry without any training at all. 

All successful people credit their success to having a mentor to guide them along the way.  In this post I am going to go over three things you must know.  Either learn this stuff now or learn the hard way.

The first thing you must know for your mlm success, is that having the right mindset goes hand in hand with the amount of success you will achieve.   I talk to network marketers on a daily basis, and with only a few words out of their mouth, I can tell if they are going to make it or not. 

Your words become life when they come out of your mouth.  “Whether You Think You Can or Can’t, You’re Right”- Henry Ford.  Everyday you should be working on your personal development.  It is sad that we spend more time making money for someone else, than we do working on ourselves.

The second thing you must know is that you joined a network marketing company.  You must know how to market your primary business.  Most network marketeering company do not know a thing about marketing you, they only know how to market themselves. 

Replicated websites was not made to brand you, only to brand the company.  Most companies do not know how to market period.  That is why they hire us “the distributors” to find and sign up the customers.  The problem with this is that most people do not have a clue on how to run a business. 

If your network marketing company does not provide you with marketing training, I suggest you find some with the quickness.

The third thing you must understand that only consistent work pays off.  If you r work is not consistent, it will not pay you consistent.  If your marketing is consistent, it will pay you consistent. 

Consistent daily action is the only way to win in network marketing.  Once you know which marketing methods you want to try out, you must be consistent.  People are watching you.  If they see that you are here today and gone tomorrow.  People take notice of this. 

It is imperative that you stay consistent.   If you think that you are not being productive, you are probably not.  Write out your weekly plan for the week, and stick to it.  Once you create a routine for your business, it becomes a habit.  That is a good habit to have.

The most important factor in any mlm business is you.  Your comp plan don’t matter, your sponsor don’t matter, not even if your business is being endorse by Obama himself. 

Only you can make it happen for your mlm.  You can succeed in mlm, only if you don’t quit.  It is truly my sincere hope that you now understand these key steps and why they are important for your massive mlm success.

When MLM’ers joined their first mlm, they are full of excitement.  However most often they have no idea how to build their business.   There are many
critical mistakes that MLM’ers make when they are building their business.  The key is to stop making these mistakes and learn from past experiences.   In this blog post I am going to go over seven deadly MLM Mistakes That Will Cost Your Career:

  1. Pre Judging People- I know that you hear a lot that you should not approach your warm market about your MLM.  I agree to a point.  But there is nothing wrong with telling your family what you do.  If you are in a mlm and you are ashamed to tell your family, you need to reevaluate things.  The problem MLM’ers has with approaching their family members is that they come across to hard.  If you have people with experience with offline marketing, reach out to them and as much training as possible on how to handle approaching your warm market.
  2. Procrastination- Procrastination can be the death of your dreams, but yet we do it freely.  We often procrastinate out of fear and control.  When you procrastinate you can control the situation.    When you keep putting of things for tomorrow, before you know it your tasks will never get done.   Tomorrow is not promise to no one.  Why put off for tomorrow, what you can do today?
  3. Not Knowing Who Your Target Market is- Most people get so excited about their mlm and start blasting their opportunity to everyone who will listen, even those who don’t listen.  If you are in the health and wellness industry, you need to know who needs health and wellness products.  You also need to know where to find these people.  Contrary to popular belief, everybody is not your prospect and not everybody is interested in what you have to say.
  4. Not Knowing How To Market- When you join a mlm, you are joining a network marketing company.  We all remember the “networking” part, but we have no clue how to do the “marketing” part.    New people are joining this industry all the time.  Sometimes your upline is no help and you can’t duplicate what they do.  If your mlm does not provide you with any training on how to market your opportunity.  This is the only way your organization is going to grow.
  5. Not Having a Mentor- So your upline hung you out to dry.  Big deal.  It happens to us all.  If your upline is not helping you and if you are not
    growing under your upline leadership, find somebody who will mentor you and teach you the route.  You cannot do this business without having a mentor.  I repeat you must get a mentor. 
  6. Being Afraid- Let me be blunt with you.  There is no room for babies and complainers in MLM.  The industry will chew you up and spit you out.  Only the tough will survive.  So if you think this business will be easy and will have mercy on you. I suggest you quit while you have the chance.  There no meek and timid individuals in MLM.  You have to go after what is yours.  If this biz was easy, there would not be such a high failure rate. 
  7. Not Taking Action: Your business will not build itself.  You must get your message out there.  Wherever you are building your business, you must be consistent.  Implement what you learn.  We take so much time getting ready to be ready, but actually implementing what you have learned.  You do not have to be perfect.  People join real people.

I have no money how do I get started

I have been in internet network marketing for almost a year now and I hear this question quite frequently.    MLM’ers most common objection is that they have no money to get started.

Well, let me be frank with you.  Having no money to get started is irrelevant.  There are plenty of free ways to do internet marketing.  Yes there is a start up cost and monthly fee for most mlms, however if a person want something bad enough they will find the money to do it.

When you were a kid and your parents said you can’t have a certain toy because they didn’t have the money.  If you really wanted it bad enough you found ways to earn the money to get it.

The same principal applies in MLM.  People find money to do what they want to do, but they don’t have money to do what they need to do it.

There could be several reasons why someone would come up with this objection.  The main reason is that they do not see that value.  If a person tells you that they do not have the money, ask them do they have the time to apply everything you teach them.

I would rather work with someone who has the time to apply everything I teach them, then a person who have the money and will not do anything.

OMG I am so fed up…

Listen up peeps.  I am a firm believer that you reap what you sow.  Meaning that if I do not participate in spamming, I have the right to say please don’t spam me.

I do my part by only sending messages to people who have opt in to my personal list or who have joined some of my personal groups by free will.

I am noticing the more people recognize you and the bigger you become, the more people feel they have the right to spam you.

If they have the right to spam, then I have the right to say no thanks.

When you opt in a person website or opt in a person personal group, you opt in to receive that person mailing.

That does not mean that you have the right to cross promote your product and services to them.

That is a big no no.

What kills me the most is that people actually get offended when you tell them to stop spamming you…

So listen up peeps!

The same way you don’t go up to a complete stranger pitching your deal right off the bat, the same truths should be applied online.

If you don’t have a list to send your product and services to, create one.

Just like I have…

And most importantly, just because you view someone as “nice and friendly”, that does not mean that they should tolerate spam and other offers they didn’t agree to.

Internet Marketing has truly opened up the gates for us to attract a larger audience.

However there are some truths that apply to both online and offline marketing.

Network marketing organizations always have and always will be built off of relationships.  You have to create the relationship first, and then the business will follow.

People only do business with those they know, like, and trust.

Point blank!

There are only two reasons why a person would want to join your business.  They either want to join you because they view you as a leader or because you have a system that they can profit from.

(Massive MLM Success Online)- The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Network Marketer’s

This post is based on Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” but it is catered for network marketer’s.

Being Proactive- In life and in business there is going to come times when we will need to make a decision.  We are not always
going to know what the correct direction is.

However there is no right and wrong answers when it comes to the game of life.  In order to see good results you have to stay consistent. 
A lot of times we give up right before success.

You should always be doing something that will bring you closer towards your goals.

Begin with the end in mind- It is very important for you to know what your end goals are.  That is why a lot of people say that you
need a “why” big enough to make you “cry”.

Goal setting is very important.  Every year you should write out your goals and you should always be doing something to bring you
closer to fulfilling those goals.

If you begin each day with the end in mind; you will wake with a new resilience. 

Put first things first- Prioritizing your activities is very important in network marketing.  If you do not, you will put important
tasks as marketing and prospecting behind tasks such as checking email.  

This is important because without prioritizing, you will always find yourself drifting off doing tasks that could be handled later.

You should spend 90 percent of your work time doing things that will produce results.  Without a sense of urgency you will find yourself
doing unnecessary tasks and you are not any closer to fulfilling your goals.

Think win/ win- This is very important and a lot of network marketers struggle with this.  When you are prospecting you have to show
your prospects what is in it for them.  A lot of times we show them what is in it for us. 

You NEED the sale and this come across when you are prospecting.  Posture is very important.  You should only be dealing with people
who say yes I need more information.

Without conveying why this is beneficial for the both of you, you will come across as a greedy salesman.  And what do we do to salesmen? 
We hang up the phone and ignore their calls. 

So when you are prospecting, find out what their deepest problem is and if you can solve it tell them how.  If you apply this you will
get so many lay downs.

Seek first to understand, then to be understood- What happens when you are in an altercation with someone.  You are both yelling at
the same time in order to get your voice across.

This is what it sounds like when you are prospecting, without acknowledging the prospect.

Understand this is very important in this business.  You need to know if you can help your prospect.  Everyone is not your perfect
prospect and everyone is not your target market.

Once you understand exactly what your prospect issue is, then you will know if you can help them or not.

Only then do you seek to be understood.

Synergize- We all know that strengths lie in numbers, and it is very important in network marketing as well.  When you are a
team, you work as a team.

There is no “I” in team.  Everybody should be working towards the same goals.  That is why it is very important to have a system. 
With a system, that is duplicable everyone can duplicate your success.

But everyone has to take massive action.

Sharpen the Saw- It is important to understand that no one is perfect.  No matter how much money you made someone have made more.

A highly effective network marketer understands this and always “sharpening the saw.”

Your daily action plan should consist of “doing”, “perfecting”, and “repeat.”

Testing and tweaking is very important in your marketing plan.  You should always be striving for higher conversion rates.
