Two months ago I wrote a post about some Facebook Marketing Secrets, and I got a lot of good feedback from it.  I wanted to revisit this topic and share with you some new information I learned on how to turn Facebook into a cash producing machine for life!

If you are ignoring Facebook in your marketing campaign, you are definitely missing out on some free leads.   Most people say that you can’t generate free leads, but I beg to differ.  With sites like Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn there is no reason why you shouldn’t be generating free leads on a daily basis.

So I’m sure your sponsor has probably told you to set up a free Facebook account and add as many network marketers as possible.  But now that you have your Facebook account, you are probably wondering, what the heck do I do now?

The most important step I see network marketers make on Facebook, is that the fail to create relationships.  For example when a guy likes a girl, doesn’t he try to find out as much information about the girl as possible?  He gets to know the girl and he caters to the girl if they want the same things in life. 

This same truth can be applied in network marketing.  I know you have heard it a million times already, but people only buy from those they know, like, and trust.

So here are some sure fire ways to make sure that you are creating relationships with your friends on Facebook, and not turning them away. 

-          When you add a new friend to Facebook, send them a welcome email saying “hi, how you are doing.”  You don’t approach with your business first, because nobody cares.

-          When they respond following up saying something like “Are you in network marketing?”

-          Continue to build on the relationship by asking questions.  Get to know the wants and needs of your prospects, and stop thinking about yourself.

Network marketing is about building up people.  If only people will realize that it is not about you, but it is about the community as a whole, they will find that MLM is not as hard as people make it out to be.

Here are some more questions to ask when prospecting for customers on FB

-          How long have you been in network marketing?

-          Do you currently market online?

-          What is your favorite way to get leads for your business?

After I find out the needs of the market, and if I have something to help them out in the current endeavors, I will send them an invite to some free training that either I’m hosting, or some free training that is part of my marketing system. 

By not pitching my business upfront, I am establishing myself as a leader and not a peddler.  If you send them some information that is actually valuable and they actually learned something that they can apply right away, they will thank you for it.  Now you potentially have a new business partner for life whenever they are deciding to join a network marketing company.

Tracey Walker Review

Hey Team, I am really excited to share with you this post.  My life and my business have change dramatically after meeting my mentor and friend Tracey Walker.  Tracey Walker is a social media queen who teaches network marketers how to successful build an mlm business using the internet.

Hmmm… so who is Tracey Walker anyway?

Tracey Walker grew up in the inner-city of Chicago Illinois and has been married for four years.  She graduated from Florida A&M University in 1999 with a MBA concentrated in marketing and started working.

If you are marketing a mlm, product, or any type of service, the best platform you can use to build your business is the world wide web.  However the problem is that there are more than 2,000,000 users on the internet, and not all of them users are looking for your products and services. That is why it is imperative that you know exactly where to find your perfect target market and only market to that group of people.

Here are a few tips to find your target market:

-          First you have to indentify who uses your products and services.  If you are in the health and wellness industry, you need to identify the age and gender of the people using your products.  You can do this by surveying your customers or asking your upline for their opinion.  Going out to your company events and take the average age and the average gender of the people there.

-          Once you have found some demographics on your target market, look in communities and forums around your niche.  You can also be very specific, if you are targeting a certain group.  For example if your target market is women ages 35 to 40, do a Google search for that+ forums. 

-          Also look in different ning sites for your target audience.  Once you know exactly who your target market, finding your target market is the easy part.  Go to those places to find the need of your target market, and if your products and services answer the need.  Offer your products as a solution.  Instead of guessing what your market wants, ask them.  Give people exactly what they want.

Everyday look for different ning and forums in your target group and connect with others there.  You do not need to spam your links; some forums may ban you for spamming.  Get to know the people and solve their problem.  Remember that people hate being sold, but they love to buy.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could quickly identify the personality of the person you are speaking to about your opportunity, and tailor your presentation in the best way possible so that you only need to discuss what your prospect wants to hear to understand how the business could work for them?

It would certainly allow you to present your business in a more simplified way, and give you more time to build a relationship with your prospect.

If you take a few minutes to LISTEN to your prospect, you will quickly be able to identify which of the four main color categories they fall into. Here are a few tips for the different personality colors.

Green (Fall) Personality

Greens are very detail oriented, actuate, professional and businesslike, very hard on themselves and critical of others.  They are motivated by the desire to be right, maintain quality.  They are NOT motivated by money.  They work slowly to make sure they are correct.  They need a lot of information before they make decision. They need security, time to adjust, and advance planning, and no risk.  They can appear unapproachable and don’t show a lot of emotion on their face. 

They talk slow and soft, they are computer savvy, best follow up skills, very cautious, not very spontaneous, non emotional, most pessimistic, must be planned, don’t like flashy people.  An example of a green personality is doctors.  They can be a little self-critical, overly sensitive and sometimes a little critical of others, but they’re also stable, compassionate and intuitive of other’s needs.

You will need to give your Green prospect as much information as needed for them to make a decision.  Green can be good leaders who like a good challenge!

Greens can be great leaders who like a good challenge – make that little bit of extra effort to get them on your team and you won’t be sorry!

Blue (Summer) Personality

Blues are very enthusiastic, opportunistic, emotional and passionate, exciting, dramatic and fun loving, very unrealistic, disorganize, feelings are hurt easy, bunch of friends on Facebook and MySpace, very socialable; they are motivated by recognition and approval of others, focus on the future, waste time doing unproductive things, talk rather than listen, motivate and inspire others through excitement, life of the party, opportunistic, playful, bubbly, like to be seen, don’t like to take orders. 

Career examples for blues are a sales career, singer, and songwriter.

If you want to work with this person, there’s no point into going into all the minute detail of the business, as blue’s are slightly disorganized and more likely to act on feelings rather than logic. Your presentation needs to be short and succinct. You need to make it sound exciting and fun.  Blue’s are motivated by recognition and the approval of others. Tell them about the social activities that come with the business and you’ll be appealing to what motivates them most.

Blue personalities have an eye on the future. They tend to make quick decisions and they make lots of right (and wrong) calls, but are quickly up and running onto the next one. Introduce a Blue into your business and it will never be dull!

Yellow (Spring) personality

Yellows are compassionate, loving, dependable, can’t make decisions, rather see you happy than themselves, sacrifice themselves, fear change, love helping, great listeners, make decisions base on others, easy influence by others, need security, gradual change, don’t like trouble, calm, ultimate desire quality relationships and feeling of being needed, and opportunity to make a difference in other people lives, passive and laid back, talk slow and soft, causal and informal, nice people, overly sensitive, and hurt very easy, animal lovers, they don’t care how much you know until you show how much you care.

Yellows are your daycare workers, nurses, and school teachers.

If you want to work with this person, you will need to explain how your product will help people; help them save money, help them to lose weight, help increase energy; help generate an income that will allow them to spend more time at home with their family etc.  As this will motivate them much more than a fantastic compensation plan or the incentive trips and cars you can win.

Red (winter) personality

Reds are decisive people, goal oriented, independent, risk takers, self starters, driven to complete projects quickly and effective, very competitive, not patient, very blunt, poor listeners, demanding, insensitive, don’t like a lot of facts, very fast past, motivated by results, change, action, money, credit for achievement, get lot done in lest time, hate wasting time, great at initiating conversation, begin with the end in mind, make quick decisions, stubborn about making change, they take control and are very dominate, like to face new challenges, opportunity for advancement; they are motivated by boats, cars, houses, money, they like to win, and hate losing, talk fast and loud, natural born leaders, rude and arrogant, little unteachable, very sensitive to criticism, like to be with the in crowd, like flashy stuff, hate cheap stuff, hate waiting, don’t like to be followers, don’t show emotions in front of other people, hate people who can’t decide.

They are likely to be pilots, politicians, CEO’s or managing directors of firms, lawyers, military leaders etc.

If you want to work with this person, you will need to outline the results that can be achieved in your business and you’ll need to be specific, such as “reach this goal and you’ll be entitled to a free car”, “reach that goal and you’ll receive a bonus of 1,000.

Red personalities aren’t easily coachable, and are quickly bored by inactivity. They prefer to set off running and be independent. They may be impulsive and demanding but they also get results. Introduce a red personality type into your business and you’ll have someone who can sometimes be insensitive to the feelings of others in their drive to the top, but their activity and enthusiasm for the task will motivate some of the slower movers.
