You may not consider everything you just read to be crucial information about dominating using the pay per click method. But don’t be surprised if you find yourself recalling and using this very information in the next few days.
We have all heard of Google Adwords and some of us have even tried to use pay per click advertising for our business. Over and over again we hear the success stories of several network marketers using Google pay per click; and we also hear the horror stories.
Is there a secret formula that is hidden from the masses?
My friend I am here to tell you that marketing is a science; but it is duplicable.
Let’s start by stating exactly what is pay per click. Pay per Click is an internet advertising module use on search engines; in which advertisers (You) pay their host (Google, Yahoo, MSN) when their ads are click.
With that being said it is important to not just throw a campaign up on the spare of the moment. Especially with no experience or training on this topic. Do your research before you decide to use pay per click advertising for your business.
I am going to get right into this training. When you are searching for keywords to bid, on less competition is always better. Go deep and wide while you are searching for keywords to bid on.
Great keyword resources are http://www.wordtracker.com, https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, and http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/
Some very simple rules to remember
• To be on page one, you need to be one of the eight to eleven best bidders
• You can always get the bottom position by bidding Google’s minimum required bid
• Often more bidders mean expensive clicks
• More bidders mean more work/copywriting
• More bidders mean more time, money in testing before you are profitable
• More competition means more money to winner
When you are writing your ad these tips are very important when setting up your campaign.
• Show your major keyword in the headline, body, and URL. If the keyword is not in the URL here is what to do. For example http://www.yahoo.com?keyword. It does not matter what is after the question mark. It will still go to yahoo.com. Type it in your browser to see for yourself. By putting your keyword in the headline, body, and URL, you are telling Google that your website is related to that keyword without Google having to go to the website.
• The Second line is a benefit. This is your best guest of what people searching on the internet for that keyword wants to know.
• The third line is a feature of the package (this is what your product offer)
• The forth line is the URL (example: www.youtube.com
• The fifth line is the destination URL (If you never set up a Google campaign; you may not know what I am referring to) (example: www.youtube.com/landingpage)
Here is an example of a great ad when I type in MLM in Google.

Known’ Success Secret To Themselves

Please notice how the advertiser put the keyword MLM in the headline, body of the ad, and in the URL itself.
Make sure you scope out your competition as well. For those of you who want to bid on highly targeted keywords. (I wouldn’t suggest this if you are a newbie.)
Type in your desired keyword into your browser; and print out the first screen. In a couple of days or weeks; type the keyword back into your browser. See who is still on the first page of Google and who is not. Keep repeating this process until you find out who your real competition is.
After you find out who is your real competition is; study their ad campaign, website, get on their mailing list, study their emails, and call them to find out what they are selling and what their prices are.
These guys have already figured it out. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. They figured out what works and it is up to you to duplicate what is successful. Sell a better product than what your competitors are offering.
Win your customer’s over by offering him something he won’t find anywhere else.
Ways to find customers that are ready to buy.
• Begin with common sense
• Narrow down your keyword
• Try turning traffic first and watch how people click and respond
• Test and Track two different ads campaigns
• Do an ask campaign for your different major keywords. (Ask your customers what they really want and give it to them. Great place to set up a campaign is at http://www.askdatabase.com
• Bid on keywords with brackets [exact matches] quotes “phrase matches” and broad matched keywords
• You can bid different amounts for these keywords
If your keyword has absolutely no competition it is either they tried and it didn’t work or you struck gold.
Do you have an ROI argument (return on investment argument?)
If you have a clear ROI argument your customer’s will want to buy from you and nobody else.
What do you have to offer your customer’s that is unique?
Killer questions to ask yourself to find out your unique selling proposition
• Why Should I listen to you?
• Why should I do business with you instead of somebody else?
• What can your product do for me that no other product can do?
• What can you guarantee me that no one else can
Here is a great checklist guide to follow when setting up your campaign.
- I’ve entered the conversation & test going on inside my customer head. My headline and text echo exactly what my customer is looking for.
- I’m bidding on close matches on very specific phrases (example change oil)
- I’m bidding on longer phases (example how do I change the oil in my car)
- I’m playing beat the control by rotating at least 2 ads simultaneously in everyone of my ad groups (this is when you are testing and tracking to see which ad has the most clicks)
- After 30 or more clicks on each, delete the poorer of the two ads and write a new one and try to beat the winner
- I’m taking a full advantage of the space Google give me in each line
- When I list benefits and features, I try listening benefits first
- My display URL is relevant to what my customers are searching for
- I’m testing capital versus lower case letters in my headline, body test, and URL to see what earns me a higher CTR
- I’ve read my ads out loud to myself to see if they have good rhythm and flow
- I’m playing to my hunches, thinking about copy day and night
- I always keep a close eye on what advertisers are doing
- Get good clicks make those clicks worth more money
- Get more clicks from more pages
